This easy path will take you through Konavle coast. The path starts by St. George church that , according to its architecul tural elements goes back to the 15th century, although the continuity of its sacred site has been confirmed since ancient times by its carved ancient inscription built into the church as a spolium. On the way to Močići you will run into a certain number of stone crosses which have been the stations in the course of the religious precessional ceremonies held on the occasion of the blessing of the crops. Each one has a carved inscribed monogram of jesus Christ and a relief od St. Anthony with the child. The oldest one dates in 1762. As well, in Močići you can see one of the most beautiful Mithreum in Dalmatia. A Mithreum is a shrine dedicated to the ancient Persian God Mithras whose cult was widespread in this region from the 2nd untill the 4th century A.D. In this one, the relief of Mithras killing the bull and facing east is carved in live rock.In this village you can learn all about traditional values of Konavle, reflected through the traditions and beautiful Konavle folk costume, distinctive for its elegance and silk embroidery. The Ethnografphic Museum of Konavle region exhibits over 500 valuable items of eth nographic textiles, jewelry, furniture and everyday useful household items. Upon arriving in Cavtat, you have free time for coee or ice cream or a visit to the Bukovac House Museum or the Shell Museum.
